Welcome to the Block!

We are the official voice for neighbors living on East 31st Street (between Farragut Road & Glenwood Road). Whether you have lived here for 40 years or 4 months, whether you own or rent, this association is for you.

We are a volunteer group of neighbors dedicated to keeping our street green, safe, and connected.

Greener Streets

We organize cleanups, tree care, and planting days. Our goal is to beautify our block and compete in the “Greenest Block in Brooklyn” contest to increase our quality of life and the health and well-being of our community.

Community Resources

We act as the direct link between our block, the 67th Precinct, and Community Board 17. We advocate for better street lighting, sanitation pick-ups, and street maintenance.

Community Engagement & Fun

From summer block parties to community events, we create spaces for neighbors to meet, connect, and look out for one another.
